Tomorrow night is my first official candlelight flow class. I have incorporated candles into my classes in the past (Halloween, lunar, etc.) and it always has had positive feedback.
While I enjoy a heart pumping cardio vascular flow yoga class but I think a lot of us desperately NEED take some time to be mellow. We have this really interesting phenomenon in America where we physically need a cardio class from all this sitting we do all day but our brains very rarely get the sweet release from our lives (hence the "monkey mind").
I am looking forward to bringing this class to the community of Richmond. Oh, did I mention we are also going to the martini bar to connect and converse (and enjoy a cocktail or two)?
I hope the next time you find yourself up north, but not quite in Wisconsin, you'll stop by to enjoy 75 minutes to let your mind, body, and spirit get a little gooey.
