Well, I'm a slightly crunchy, DIY yoga mom that is always looking for ways to bring harmony to my home, body, & soul.
I have been practicing yoga since 2008 and have been teaching since 2013. I love teaching people to reach beyond their perceived limitations that they come to the practice with and instead help to empower them on and off the yoga mat.

Philosophy
At first, yoga seemed like a great way to build strength and flexibility for my body. I craved (and still do!) the physical exertion I experienced after moving through a vigorous practice or the deep release through a restorative one. After a horrific personal family loss I turned to my practice to help heal and forgive. During this time I realized the true power of yoga; that it goes so far beyond the physical practice of asana (poses). It has the potential to heal individuals, families, communities, and the world. Yoga is physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual...it is a pathway to samadhi or bliss. It is a voyage to discovering who you are, to letting your soul shine.
Gratitude
I would like to thank all of my teachers before me, those I know personally and those I have only studied in books: Jennifer Ewert, Denise Yager, Scott Roos, Tracy Soos-Walker, Dana Robinson, Mark Stephens, Erich Schiffmann, Gary Kraftsow, Gabriel Halpern, Kathryn Budig, Noah Maze, Rodney Yee, Judith Lasater, B.K.S. Iyengar, Shiva Rea, Bernie Clark, Paramahansa Yogananda, and all their gurus before them.
